I'm a newbie gamer and have only used this this thing a few times, but I can say that it is well built and functions flawlessly as far as I can tell. It's a lot bigger than I was expecting.

I can think of two negatives, both minor and both having to do with whether you use it separately or fastened together.

Maybe it's because I'm a novice, but when I use each part separately I tend to tip them and they move around. I guess I have to learn to calm down and not use so much pressure.

You can also attach the two pieces as shown in the picture which gives it more stability, which I like, but there is no lock. You just insert a tab into a slot and it's kind of a pain. If you get too excited (see above) or if you want to pick them up and move them you have to be careful or they come apart easily and it's a pain to reattach them quickly. The cable connecting the two pieces that's coiled up on the bottom unwinds and gets in the way. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for this.

All in all I'm happy with the purchase especially for the money and recommend it.

This is an awesome joystick, since i bough it been using it in FS2004, no really much configuration to do works perfect, FSX even better, on my PS3 works great been using it in HAW X, IL-2 and works great, y really recommend this joystick, very affordable and for the price its just amazing...
